Co-created by LAAM and Design651, LAAM Fashion Week continues its runway-to-e-tail model, bringing together the breadth of Pakistan’s fashion ecosystem while connecting physical runway showcases with digital discovery, access and commerce.

Day 2 opened with the LFW Retail Runway, featuring Allure by Izna Hamza, Truba and ALLYS. This was followed by LFW Edit, bringing together Hathghar, Beygum Bano, Almirah and Collected XX, before the evening concluded with a Designer Showcase featuring Parishae Adnan, DUNO by Hassan & Yahsir Waheed, Emraan Rajput and Jugnu Studios by Hussain Rehar.

In keeping with LFW’s digital-first approach, Season 2 is being livestreamed through the LAAM App and LAAM Fashion Week website, with ARY Plus, the Official OTT Partner, also livestreaming the runway to audiences beyond the venue.

SHOW 1: LFW RETAIL RUNWAY

Day 2 opened with the LFW Retail Runway, continuing LFW’s work with manufacturing-led and retail-ready fashion businesses.

Building on the Ramp Readiness Programme introduced during LFW’s inaugural edition, the platform works with participating businesses to translate established production and retail capabilities into stronger consumer-facing fashion identities, connecting manufacturing strength with design, storytelling and market access.

ALLURE BY IZNA HAMZA – HERITAGE REIMAGINED

Allure by Izna Hamza presented Heritage Reimagined, a contemporary interpretation of cultural memory and the ways in which heritage can evolve through modern fashion.

The collection brought together mixed silhouettes, craftsmanship, texture and cultural narratives, reconsidering traditional design codes through a refined contemporary lens.

Each look explored the tension between the familiar and unexpected, with considered detailing and innovative construction allowing timeless references to take on new forms.

At its core, Heritage Reimagined proposed that innovation does not require leaving tradition behind, but can instead emerge through reinterpretation, giving the richness of the past a new and relevant voice.

TRUBA

Truba brought a romantic vision of occasion wear to the LFW Retail Runway, balancing traditional craftsmanship with a versatile mix of silhouettes.

The collection moved between voluminous, floor-sweeping lehengas, flowing anarkalis, shararas, ghararas and sleek straight-cut kurtas, finished with dupattas that introduced movement and drama.

A rich palette of wine, crimson, mustard, teal, sage green, blush pink, champagne and deep plum set the tone, complemented by zardozi-inspired embroidery, ornate borders, floral motifs, sequins and metallic threadwork.

From densely embellished hems and embroidered sleeves to statement dupattas, the collection celebrated the richness of South Asian formal dressing while soft draping and fluid proportions gave the looks a distinctly contemporary sensibility.

ALLYS – DIWANI

ALLYS presented Diwani, a celebration of South Asian elegance rooted in traditional craftsmanship, heirloom dressing and the grandeur of Pakistani weddings.

Drawing on royal architecture, traditional floral motifs and heirloom jewellery, the collection explored a palette of deep maroons, ruby reds, antique golds, ivory, champagne and muted sage.

Zardozi-inspired embroidery, sequins, pearls, crystals and ornate borders added richness throughout, while classic silhouettes moved between intricately worked bodices, flowing kalidars and statement dupattas.

The formal looks carried a softer, more ethereal quality, while bridal pieces embraced a more opulent expression through rich colour and elaborate handwork, creating a collection designed around the enduring appeal of craftsmanship and tradition.

SHOW 2: LFW EDIT

The second presentation of Day 2 brought LFW Edit to the runway, spotlighting contemporary and high-street fashion businesses that have built strong consumer identities in Pakistan and internationally.

The platform provides these brands with an opportunity to translate established retail identities into a more editorial Fashion Week context, allowing their design language and creative direction to take centre stage.

HATHGHAR – KHAZANA: A TALE OF CRAFTSMANSHIP

Hathghar presented Khazana: A Tale of Craftsmanship, a collection of sarees, kalidar kurtas, ghararas and churidaars conceived as art made wearable.

The bindi appeared throughout as a recurring polka-dot motif, used as a symbol of femininity and artistic expression.

Handblock printing, handloom weaving and handmade details including beads, motifs and tassels brought an artisanal quality to the collection, while an earthy palette drew directly from geography, culture and craft.

Designed as evergreen pieces rather than momentary statements, Khazana celebrated the versatility of South Asian dress while placing the work of artisans and traditional techniques at the heart of the collection.

BEYGUM BANO – DYNASTY, UNTAMED

Beygum Bano presented Dynasty, Untamed, a collection built around the collision between imperial structure and the raw, instinctive energy of the wild.

Inspired by the archetype of the woman who is elegant by heritage but wild by nature, the collection explored dualities between refinement and freedom, structure and instinct.

Shangai fabrics were deconstructed and contrasted with animal patterns and fluid botanical imagery, creating a dialogue between the court and the canopy, and between inherited sophistication and untamed individuality.

ALMIRAH – TAKHAYYUL

Almirah presented Takhayyul, a collection rooted in the Urdu art of imagination and the meeting of nature with creative expression.

Earthy browns, forest greens, deep blues and muted neutrals created the collection’s palette, while intricate embroidery, textured patchwork, abstract motifs and handcrafted embellishments drew from the raw beauty of the natural world.

Relaxed tunics, fluid wide-leg trousers, oversized jackets and dramatic outer layers gave the collection an organic yet contemporary silhouette.

Through tactile surfaces, layered textures and unexpected colour combinations, Takhayyul translated nature into a wearable study of imagination, form and materiality.

COLLECTED XX – THE SHAH ALAM ARCHIVE

Collected XX presented The Shah Alam Archive, a Fall/Winter collection conceived as a love letter to the sensory energy and beautiful chaos of the South Asian bazaar.

Taking inspiration from historic markets such as Lahore’s Shah Alam, the collection translated vivid colour, layered textures, domestic objects and the visual rhythm of market life into fashion.

Everyday utilitarian textiles and references from the South Asian home were elevated alongside precious vintage, hand-embellished panels more than three decades old.

By bringing the ordinary into conversation with heirloom craftsmanship, the collection mirrored the character of the bazaar itself: a place where history, utility, commerce, art and daily life exist side by side.

SHOW 3: DESIGNER SHOWCASE

The final presentation of Day 2 brought together four independent designer voices, moving across womenswear rooted in agency and self-expression, contemporary craft, dark menswear and an intentionally unconventional exploration of instinct and curiosity.

PARISHAE ADNAN – IKHTIAAR

Parishae Adnan presented Ikhtiaar, an exploration of women’s agency, empowerment and freedom of self-expression.

A palette dominated by black and charcoal grey established a strong visual foundation, punctuated by metallic silver embellishments, chains, oversized medallions, ornate jewellery and richly textured surfaces.

Sculpted waistcoats, voluminous trousers, dramatic gowns, sweeping skirts and commanding outerwear balanced sharp tailoring against movement and fluidity.

Each look approached clothing as an assertion of identity, framing power not simply through strength of silhouette but through the right to define oneself on one’s own terms.

DUNO BY HASSAN & YAHSIR WAHEED

DUNO by Hassan & Yahsir Waheed brought a contemporary perspective to traditional Pakistani craftsmanship, asking how techniques practiced by generations of karigars can be rebuilt for the way people dress today.

Rather than treating heritage craft as something to simply preserve, DUNO deconstructs and studies traditional stitches, weaves and details before translating them into modern silhouettes.

Handcraft remained central, but appeared across pieces designed for contemporary lives, from city-ready kurtas to travel-friendly co-ords and statement dressing.

Reflecting the Yin-Yang philosophy embedded in the brand’s identity, the collection embraced the idea that two things can exist at once: desi and global, old and new.

Rooted in Pakistan but conceived for a wider world, DUNO presented its vision of Pakistan refashioned.

EMRAAN RAJPUT – AFTER DARK

Emraan Rajput presented After Dark, a statement in black where modern menswear, high fashion, street style and timeless tailoring converged.

The collection explored Korean-inspired and Renaissance jackets, long winter coats, formal and dinner suits, alongside relaxed baggy and oversized silhouettes.

Rich wool fabrics, distinctive cuts and layered proportions created a bold winter language, while sequins, diamond-like stones and intricate threadwork introduced flashes of light and luxury against the darkness.

After Dark balanced elegance with rebellion and tradition with modernity, giving classic menswear a darker, more dramatic edge.

JUGNU STUDIOS – RABBITS WITH FLOWERS

Jugnu Studios by Hussain Rehar closed Day 2 with RABBITS WITH FLOWERS, a collection conceived around oddities, unexpected encounters and the instinctive pleasure of allowing curiosity to lead.

Rather than following a conventional narrative, the collection embraced the strange mix itself: an imagined space where contrasts, unlikely combinations and spontaneous ideas were allowed to coexist.

Playful, instinctive and deliberately unpredictable, RABBITS WITH FLOWERS invited the audience into the distinctive creative world of Jugnu Studios, where rules loosen, unexpected encounters feel natural and curiosity becomes part of the design process.

With the conclusion of the Designer Showcase, Day 2 of LAAM Fashion Week Season 2 came to a close, following a programme that moved from manufacturing and retail-ready fashion to established high-street businesses and independent designer voices.

LAAM Fashion Week Season 2 continues through Monday, 26th October 2026.
