Where Art Met Legacy: A Night of Timeless Excellence at the 24th Lux Style Awards

Karachi’s City of Lights sparkled with renewed brilliance as the 24th Lux Style Awards (LSA) unfolded at the historic Mohatta Palace. One of Pakistan’s most celebrated cultural platforms, the awards honored excellence across Fashion, Digital, Music, Film, and Drama. Aptly themed “A December to Remember,” the evening brought together the country’s most influential stars, creative leaders, and industry pioneers for a night defined by artistry, celebration, and timeless elegance.

Opening Ceremony, Hosts & Creative Vision

The evening commenced on a deeply moving note with a heartfelt rendition of the national anthem performed by the children of Zindagi Trust, setting a tone of unity and pride. The ceremony was hosted by acclaimed actors Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui and Sanam Saeed, with a thoughtfully crafted script by renowned writer-director Sarmad Khoosat, as the stage welcomed some of the biggest names from Pakistan’s entertainment landscape.

Honoring Sultana Siddiqui – LUX Change Makers Award

A special tribute was paid to Sultana Siddiqui, President of HUM Network, recognizing her enduring contribution to storytelling and the evolution of Pakistan’s entertainment industry. She was presented with the LUX Change Makers Award by Samir Sultan, General Manager Personal Care, Unilever Pakistan, celebrating her decades-long influence and leadership.

Unforgettable Musical & Dance Performances

The night featured a rich tapestry of performances that captivated the audience throughout. Highlights included a melodic sitar composition by Waqas Hussain, soulful vocals from Hadiya Hashmi, high-energy beats by DJ Shotbox, and an electrifying drum performance by Aahad Nayani. Adding classical grace to the evening, celebrated kathak artist Tabitha Simrin, alongside her ensemble, delivered a visually stunning performance.

The stage came alive with vibrant acts by Hasan Raheem, Nayel and Aashir Wajahat, Nehaal Naseem, and Afusic, leading up to the night’s most powerful and emotional moment. Legendary vocalist Abida Parveen delivered a mesmerizing performance before being honored with the Unilever Chairman’s Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by Unilever Chairman Amir Paracha. The tribute was elevated by a moving narration from Adnan Siddiqui, accompanied by musical direction from Faisal Kapadia, making it a truly unforgettable highlight of the evening.
