Karachi, May 15, 2025 – BYD, the world’s No.1 NEV brand, launched The Great Pakistan Adventure (GPA), a first-of-its-kind cinematic travel series exploring Pakistan’s diverse landscapes, cultures, and untold stories enabled by the BYD Shark 6, Pakistan’s most powerful PHEV pickup.
The four-episode digital series brings together storytellers and adventurers from across Pakistan, journeying through some of the country’s most remote and demanding terrains. The series is inspired by the four terrains of the BYD Shark 6, engineered to navigate through – mud, sand, snow, and mountain.
Designed for adventure and long-distance exploration, the BYD Shark 6 is put to test across real-world environments throughout the episodes. Built on BYD’s DMO Super Hybrid platform, the vehicle combines intelligent all-wheel drive, powerful torque delivery, high ground clearance, and hybrid efficiency to confidently navigate steep mountain routes, snow-covered landscapes, desert trails, muddy tracks, and rugged coastlines. With up to 800 km of combined range, the BYD Shark 6 demonstrates the endurance, adaptability, and performance required for journeys where roads end.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Zohaib Kazi, The Great Pakistan Adventure follows four distinct expeditions featuring adventurer Abrar Hassan tracking the elusive snow leopard in Hushe Valley, storyteller Maryam Raja exploring Sindh’s living traditions and wildlife, content creator Bilal Hassan (Mystapaki) journeying through the deserts of Cholistan and Bahawalpur, and Nadir Nahdi discovering surf culture and the local community along the coastlines of Karachi and Balochistan.
