Lahore, June 09, 2026: Lake City Meadows, formerly known as State Life Corporate Housing Society, achieved a significant milestone today as it formally commenced the handover of Phase 1 Extension plots to clients during a ceremony held at the project site.
The event marked a defining moment in the project’s journey, symbolizing the transition from planning and development to tangible delivery. For hundreds of plot owners and their families, the handover represents the realization of a long-awaited dream and the beginning of a new chapter toward home ownership and community living.

The ceremony was graced by Lt. Gen. (R) Nazir Ahmed Butt, Chairman, National Accountability Bureau (NAB), as Chief Guest, alongside senior government officials, representatives of the consortium, stakeholders, and a large number of plot owners.

Addressing the gathering, the Chairman NAB underscored the importance of transparency, documentation, and responsible development in strengthening Pakistan’s real estate sector.

“Real estate is a key sector of Pakistan’s economy, and its growth must be built on transparency, documentation, and tax compliance. This handover is a positive step toward restoring trust and strengthening confidence in responsible development.”

The handover comes amid substantial progress across the project, with major infrastructure works, road networks, utilities, and development activities advancing at pace. The commencement of possession-related documentation reflects the project’s steady transformation and the consortium’s commitment to delivering on its promises.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Gohar Ejaz, on behalf of Consortium described the event as a landmark achievement for both the project and its residents.

“Today marks a moment of fulfillment, relief, and renewed confidence for our residents. This handover demonstrates tangible progress on the ground and reaffirms our commitment to transforming long-standing expectations into reality. We remain focused on delivering a modern, well-planned community that residents can proudly call home.”

With the handover process now underway, residents will be able to initiate construction activities and move forward with their plans, while development work continues across the project in a structured and disciplined manner.

Lake City Meadows is being developed under a consortium comprising Maksons, Lake City, Union Developers, Technical Associates Pakistan, and Fatima Group. Together, the consortium is driving the project forward with a shared commitment to quality, accountability, sustainable development, and long-term value creation.

The commencement of Phase 1 Extension handovers represents more than the delivery of plots; it signifies the restoration of confidence, the fulfillment of commitments, and the beginning of a vibrant new community built on trust, planning, and responsible development.
